Klann's Mechanism Reconfigured for a Higher Step
Klann Mechanism Modified to Step Higher
As shown below, Klann's step-height can be increased by moving the lower rockers and the lower frame connections toward the center by 1 LEGO hole.
Hot glue or sections of pipe cleaner are better options than tape
The following images show making this hi-step modification to a Klann Ver 3 build.
Flip the robot upside down to make it easier to move the lower rockers:
After moving the rockers on all 4 legs, re-insert the metal rods.
Do the same on the other side of the robot:
